RECENT
EVENTS
The Association holds one meeting
each month (Except during the months of June and July), when a
scholar / expert is invited to speak on a subject of contemporary
relevance. The Association also holds a full day Seminars from time
to time. An Annual Lecture by a dignitary is the high point of
the activities of the Association.
The Association, with the co-operation
of the Foreign Service Institute of the Ministry of External Affairs
and the family of Late Ambassador Bimal Sanyal, a distinguished member of
the Service, also administers the award of “Ambassador Bimal Sanyal
Memorial Prize / Medal”, for the Best IFS Officer Trainee each
year and a Silver medal for the Best dissertation. The years activities
come to an end with the AGM and the Annual Dinner.
